Neurodiverse Couples Therapy

Colorado Springs & Online Across Colorado

You've spent a long time trying to work out the special aspects in your relationship and now, its time to get some support.

I am feeling burned out

It may seem like your partner just doesn't hear you. You try to make a point, but there is always a better argument. You're irritable. But mostly you feel alone in the relationship. You fear that if things keep going this way, you will drift off into oblivion. But even worse, is the feeling that your partner may not notice.

MAYBE YOU HAVE ALSO BEEN...

Missing a sexual connection

Struggling in your parenting with a newly diagnosed neurodivergent child or in differences in parenting

Feeling like you are picking up too many responsibilities to cover for your parter.

Feel disempowered to voice your opinions

Feel shame about expressing discontent because on the surface you have a great life.

As a neurodivergent therapist in a neurodivergent relationship
I get it.

When you are upset because nothing you do seems to make change, it does not make you a bad partner. You also are not crazy for wanting things to be different! It can be overwhelming to try and explain the experience to those around you in your efforts to get help. Throughout our work together, you will receive understanding, support and encouragement. The work of relationship will be different fo you than others and it is soo worth the effort.

FAQs

Frequently asked

Do you diagnose ADHD or Autism Spectrum Disorder? I offer assessments that can work as a screening if you want to explore the possibility of a diagnosis. Because I do not bill insurance, I do not provide formal diagnosis. Autism diagnosis is a specialty designation with additional credentials. I am happy to provide referrals to trusted practictioners who will complete the extensive testing for a formal ASD diagnosis.

Do you work with children with ADHD or Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnosis? I do not work directly with children. I do work with parents to help coordinate their approach and am happy to collaborate with children's therapists.
