HOW WORKING WITH ME IS DIFFERENT
Sessions are longer Because we are not restrained by insurance panels, we will be able to explore deeply in 90 minute sessions. Intensive sessions are available as needed to give ample time to allow for the process to fully take place. This may mean longer, less frequent sessions for you. I will discuss with you during our initial sessions and together we will craft the best options for you.
You will practice skills in session and know what to do out of session You will be given the opportunity to imagine new responses to your recurring problems so when they occur in the real world, you have tools to use.
You will create a new relationship with your emotions We will work to experience emotion through authentic expression, body awareness and connection. You will feel more in control and more at peace.
I work from a values-directed, relational healing perspective... This means that your therapy is guided by your defined values. In relational work we grow in acceptance and love of ourselves and others. We will explore healing in relationship as a means to heal ourselves first. And as we do so, we bring joy and healing to ourselves and others.
